2026 Production Sale Offerings

Our lead-off filly, LF PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS, is sired by PC Frosted Runner and out of a young Kay Cross Cajun daughter. This is the first “Runner” daughter we have offered for sale, and we think you will like her. She has a lot of size and muscle in a pretty grey package. LF PrsuitofHappiness traces back to the legendary Sun Frost three times and should have the speed her pedigree predicts. 

Barrel racers take note: If you are looking for a palomino with some speed, here is your chance! LF Teddy Roosevelt is a son of PC Frosted Runner and out of a daughter of Black In Da Cash and we think this will be a great cross. This colt has Sunfrost, Dash For Cash, and Doc O’Dynamite up close on his pedigree. His sire, “Runner” is producing attractive foals that are very trainable. “Runner” earns his keep on the ranch as a smooth traveling saddle horse that does very well in the branding pen. LF Teddy Roosevelt is out of a first time mare, but we are very pleased with his muscular build, long legs, and kind eye. He will have some size and should mature to around 15.3 HH. 

“LF Slightly Above Average” is a really fancy colt and may be one of the best-looking in our sale. He is sired by Smooth Dynamite 2 and out of a Reminic-bred mare. This is “Smoothie’s” first crop of foals, so we don’t have a lot of history with his offspring. However, Smoothie is smart, athletic, easy to catch, and a pleasure to ride. He is very willing and loves people—especially if you have time to scratch him. We think LF Slightly Above Avg will have the same qualities that make his sire such a great horse. This colt has a half-sibling running barrels and another in our broodmare band. You won’t want to miss out on this fancy, flashy colt!

LF SENSIBLE CROSS, aka "SPARKY," is a beautiful grey mare sired by Kay Cross Cajun. She has a superb cow-horse pedigree on her bottom side, and her foals have great speed and agility. This mare has been a solid producer for us. She is the oldest of the Kay Cross Cajun daughters, all of which have proven to be exceptional mares. LF Sensible Cross is still relatively young and has the potential to raise several more foals with ease. She is a great mother and has a gorgeous filly in the sale sired by Smooth Dynamite 2 (LF Clara Barton). This mare sells pasture-exposed to Smooth Dynamite 2 for a May/June 2027 foal. 

LF THOMAS PAINE is another good-looking son of KT A Dashing Gent, out of a Frenchmans Guy granddaughter. The dam to this colt, LF Giddy Up, is a first-time mom and a full sister to LF June Bug, who has raised very fine foals for us. Both sisters are closely related to Grace’s old ranch gelding, “Crescent,” who was a mainstay on the ranch, and we think this colt has the potential to be that same dependable ranch horse. LF Thomas Paine is intelligent, trainable, a good athlete, and has speed to boot. Wrapped in a pretty roan coat, this is a colt you will be proud to own and use. He should mature to around 15 HH and will keep his bay roan color.

LF SWEETWATER GAL ("Duchess") has been a great mare for us. She is sired by Frenchmans Fast Cash, who was an amazing stallion for our program. Duchess is a gorgeous buckskin standing right at 14.2 HH who loves people and enjoys being scratched. Over the years, she has crossed exceptionally well with Black In Da Cash, producing two offspring that were sold to Canadian buyers. We have also kept one of her beautiful daughters for our own broodmare band. We always sell our mares once they reach a certain age, and  so we had to make the hard decision to offer her for sale. With a little extra care, she has the potential to continue producing quality foals for several more years. LF Sweetwater Gal sells pasture-exposed to Smooth Dynamite 2 for a May/June 2027 foal.
