LF Y Cantwe Bfriends

AQHA #6424213

Our lead foal for the 2025 Production Sale is a fine son of Black In Da Cash. LF Y CANTWE BFRIENDS is expected to grow to at least 15.2 HH and will be stout and athletic. His dam traces to Joe Hancock several times, is a very friendly mare, and will sell later in the sale. This colt will be a solid prospect for the ranch or arena. He combines speed and power in a big package. LF Y CANTWE BFRIENDS is a goodlooking colt with some chrome that carries an impressive pedigree featuring Dash For Cash and Doc O Dynamite. A top-quality colt with the potential to excel both on the ranch and in performance events - definitely one to watch!

LF Lites Rshynn Onme

AQHA #6424206

We are very proud to offer this colt in our sale and if you are looking for a rope horse prospect, here he is.  LF Lights Are Shining On Me is an outstanding son of Black In Da Cash and out of a great foundation bred mare.  This weanling has a nice hip, a kind eye, and is very balanced.  He has a lot of eye appeal plus he is very smart and friendly.  He is a full brother to “Boone” the great rope horse owned by the Gaines family from Powell, Wyoming.  He is also a full brother to the gorgeous colt which topped our sale last year, owned by Kevin Elias of Chinook, MT.  LF LITES RSHYNN ONME is a great prospect and one of the nicest colts we have ever raised.  Don’t miss out on this guy; he has great pedigree with Dash For Cash, Doc O Lena, and King P234 up close.

LF Prairie Smoke

AQHA #6424215

Here is a colt with some size to him and I’m sure he caught your attention in the pen. LF PRAIRIE SMOKE will get noticed every day of his life.  He is a powerful son of Black In Da Cash and out of a great foundation bred mare.  Hancock Silver King was a great stallion, and you can see how well his daughter crosses with “Cash”.  If you are looking for a head horse, here he is! If you are looking for a ranch stud, check him out!  He is a little stand-offish, but he is smart and trainable.  He has an impressive pedigree with Dash For Cash, Doc O Lena, Blue Valentine, Silver King, and Driftwood Ike up close.  LF PRAIRIE SMOKE should mature right at 16 HH

LF That Girl

AQHA #6424201

LF THAT GIRL is a real head turner. She is very fancy and a blue roan to boot. With a huge hip and a baby doll head, her pedigree traces back to a lot of nice horses. Her sire is SR Kinenos Badger, a fine son of Kinenos Moon who stands at King Ranch. Her dam is a mare who has really raised some nice foals for us. Dustin Gasvoda of Big Sandy, MT has a son sired by Black In Da Cash out of her dam and really likes him. We have kept two daughters out of “Feisty” and we are very proud of them. Her great-grandsire, JP Warrior Hancock, has sired some good rope horses in Arizona. This filly traces back to Peppy San Badger, Sugar Bars, and King P234. LF THAT GIRL is very athletic and beautiful and should make a fine rope horse.

LF Mr Wonderful

AQHA #6420446

If you are in the market for an arena prospect, either in barrel racing or roping events, LF MR WONDERFUL could be the perfect fit for you. He is a good-looking colt with some size and appeal and wears that gorgeous black color. Note, this is the fourth son of Black In Da Cash we are offering and there is no drop in quality.  “Cash” has really crossed well with the daughters of Freshmans Fast Cash.  He possesses speed, athleticism, and should mature at around 15.2 HH or taller. With a pedigree consisting of Dash For Cash, Doc O Dynamite, Frenchmans Guy,and Roany Gumbo Dancer on his papers, LF MR WONDERFUL would make a nice ranch horse as well as an arena prospect.

LF Hndy AZASHIRTPKET

AQHA #6420919

Here is a very good-looking bay colt that should make an excellent heel horse or breakaway rope horse. LF HANDY AS A SHIRT POCKET’s dam is a tremendous producer who combines foundation bloodlines with Frenchmans Guy and Dash ForCash. His sire is Black In Da Cash who has produced many fine prospects for us over the years.  This is “Cash’s” last foal we are offering for sale. A full brother went to Manitoba, a full sister went to Alberta, and we have a full sister we kept for our broodmare band.  We think very highly of the Black In DaCash/Frenchmans Fast Cash cross.  These colts have a lot of balance, foot, bone, and athletic ability and this colt is no exception.  LF HNDY AZASHIRTPKETshould mature at around 14.3 HH.

LF Cutie Bug

AQHA #6424196

Here is a good-looking filly that will catch your eye. She has a little chrome and that pretty sorrel color along with a nice hip, a deep cinch, and long legs.  LF CUTIE BUG should be a good mover on the ranch and also be competitive in the arena.  Her sire is SR Kinenos Badger has given her a powerful build and great mind.  This filly’s dam, LF JUNE BUG, is a young mare who is a ¾ sister to “Cresent” our daughter’s gelding who was very reliable on the ranch.  He was gentle enough for anyone to ride but was a great ranch horse that got the job done.  The Lippert family of Carter, MT bought a full sister last year and they love her.  CUTIE BUG is sure to be a good investment.

LF Somethin Special

AQHA #6431017

Look at this solid brown colt with some chrome.  He is a tank and will be pretty soggy when he grows up.  His sire, SR Kinenos Badger, is a very prepotent stud who really stamps his colts.  LF SOMETHIN SPECIAL is very correct, has good foot and bone, a keen head, and a powerful hip.  His dam is another young mare we purchased from Bob and Clair Lee from Nebraska and these mares are really producing some nice babies for us.  This colt has a strong foundation pedigree as he traces back to Peppy San Badger, Sugar Bars, and Joe Hancock several times.  He will mature at Least 15.2 HH and he will be SOMETHIN SPECIAL.

LF Ace In The Hole

AQHA REGISTRATION PENDING

Here is a colt that will be a tall drink of water when he grows up as he could be 16 HH at maturity.  Both parents are young so there is limited production history available; however, the parents are of good size. His sire is PC Frosted Runner isour own son of PC Tully Frost.  We bought “Runner” to replace the great stud Kay Cross Cajun. We think “Runner” will be producing some nice foals for us.  Last year a “Runner” colt went to Michigan and we sure are proud of him.  The dam to this foal, LF SHEZ SO FINE, is a first-time mom who comes from a great family of mares. Cuerno Verde Smoking was my favorite mare and traced to Jackie Bee three times, and LF Smoking Hancock raised some really nice foals for us as well.  LF ACE IN THE HOLE should have plenty of speed and be fun to ride.

LF Beer Garden Babe

AQHA #6424184

It’s not easy being the last foal in a production sale, but don’t overlook this nice prospect.  LF BEER GARDEN BABE is a daughter of SR Kinenos Badger and out of a fine daughter of Hancock Silver King.  Hancock Silver King was a tremendous stallion for us that produced many fine horses, and this filly’s dam, Billie Jean, is no exception. Billie Jean is the dam to Kelly Owen’s barrel horse “Chubby,” of Havre, MT. She also produced a high-selling colt that went to Arizona.  We have been crossing our foundation mares with SR Kinenos Badger (AKA: Stetson) and like the results.  LF BEER GARDEN BABE will have good feet and bone, a trainable mind, and athletic ability.  She should mature around 15.1 HH.

LF Frenchmans Starr

AQHA #5082623

We are very proud to offer LF FRENCHMANS STARR.  She is a franchise mare and a sale highlight.  She is the type of mare to build a program around.  You will wear out a set of tires looking for another mare like her. “Hailey” is a daughter of Frenchmans Fast Cash (Charlie).  “Charlie” was our first son of Frenchmans Guyand he really produced for us. If you have followed our program, you will notice that some of our very best foals have come from Frenchmans Fast Cash daughters.

Hailey is also a granddaughter of Senor Bailey.  He was a King P234 grandson that produced some nice horses.  This mare has produced some great foals including“Boone” a fine rope horse for the Gines family in Powell, WY.  Last year, she produced our high selling colt that went to long-time customers Kevin Elias and his family from Chinook, MT.  She is a hard one to let go, but we always sell our mares when they reach a certain age.  Don’t let her age stop you, this mare has a lot of years left.

Dreamin Luna Hancock

AQHA #51705268

We are offering a young mare that traces heavily to Joe Hancock.  Luna is 15.2 HH and is a big hipped, good boned mare.  She has a pretty head, loves being scratched, and you can catch her anywhere.  Her foals are very friendly and gentle; they have been the lead off foal in our sale several times here at BLS.  Repeat customer Amanda Hennessy of Great Falls, MT, has a Black In Da Cash daughter out of this mare that she bought for a barrel horse prospect.  Luna also has a Kay Cross Cajun son in Utah that is in training for breakaway roping and possibly torun barrels on.  She has crossed well with every stud we bred her to and she is an easy breeder and a good mom.  She sells pasture exposed to SR Kinenos Badger for a May 2026 foal.
